Gallery Sanskriti, established in 1990 in Kolkata, is recognized for its extensive modern Indian art collection and exhibitions on senior and emerging artists. It has successfully organized over 200 exhibitions, workshops, and auctions in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Jamshedpur, Maihar, Jakarta and Dubai New York , London and Shanghai.

There are currently five coffee table books amongst numerous other publications to its credit that have documented works by major Bengal artists like Ganesh Pyne, Bikash Bhattacharjee, Jogen Chowdhury, Ganesh Haloi and Paritosh Sen. The Gallery has held pan-continental shows with some of the leading artists of the country such as Padmashree awardees and pioneer artists like Laxma Goud, Akbar Padamsee, Yusuf Arakkal, Paresh Maity, Sunil Das, Anjolie Ela Menon and S.H. Raza have held shows at the Gallery.

Gallery Sanksriti has facilitated International Art Exchanges and fostered the growth of Indian Art abroad by sending artists on International Cultural Exchange Programmes to the UK, US, Italy, France and Indonesia. By encouraging all forms of art from traditional paintings to unconventional installations, the gallery commends artists that stay true to their vision, whether their methods are classical or modern.
